Snowmobiling: the opposite logic

How to properly store your vehicle
Choosing the storage location
Priority to the closed, locked, alarmed garage. Commercial deposit with fence and supervision is also acceptable. Exterior under tarpaulin = higher premium.
Mechanically prepare the vehicle
Fuel stabilizer, battery disconnected or over-maintained, clean oil, max tire pressure, wheels on shims to avoid flat spots.
Adjust the policy with your broker
2 weeks before storage. The broker applies the “storage” endorsement or changes the active period of the policy.
Document the condition
Photos of the vehicle and the storage location. In the event of a claim during the off-season, this evidence accelerates the claim.
